I’m Fahan, founder of FBS.

I’m a proud mother of six, a community organiser, an educator, and a lifelong lover of food made with heart.

FBS was born from my deep-rooted love for traditional Somali cooking and a desire to bring the warmth, richness, and soul of those flavours to kitchens around the world.

For me, food is more than just nourishment – it’s a connection. It’s the sound of laughter around a shared table, the comfort of recipes passed down through generations, and the joy that comes from a lovingly prepared, homemade meal.

At FBS, we honour the authentic tastes of Somali heritage using honest ingredients – no preservatives, no added colour – just real food, made the way it’s meant to be.
